Chocolate cake in a mug! Cakey- fudgey texture in less than 3 mins!

image

Hello peeps! As you can tell from the title,  this is my experimental success of trying cake in a mug for the 1st time ever & it was amazing! what's a more perfect time to try this recipe out than during a long weekend? Make this with your mom, dad, sister, brother, little cousins or friends!
It was fudgy but more on the cakey texture side so if you like that, this recipe is perfect for you. There is no eggs in this recipe and its simple to make where you just combine the multiple ingredients. However, I have to say that you can totally find a cake in a mug recipe that has less ingredients but this was just the recipe that I tried out and that worked.

So here is the recipe for you guys to try out!

INGREDIENTS
1st set of dry ingredients
*5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
*4 1/2 tablespoons sugar
*2 teaspoons cocoa powder (unsweetened)
*1/4 teaspoon baking soda
*dash of salt (around 1/4 teaspoon)
2nd set of wet ingredients
*1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
*1/4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
*2 teaspoons vegetable/canola oil
*4 1/2 tablespoons water

INSTRUCTIONS
1) Coat your mug with a nonstick spray or light butter. This will make a bug difference when you get to the bottom of the mug & when you're washing it
(Tehee I was too lazy to)

2) Mix & combine well the 1st set of dry ingredients with a fork or utensil.

3) Add in the vinegar - vanilla - oil. Mix well

4) Add in the water on top & combine until its a watery texture.

5) Pop it in the microwave for about 2 mins. You can check with a long toothpick but the inside will be somewhat fudgey so just keep that in mind when you do that.

Now its ready to dig in! (Be careful! The mug will be hot)
You can top it off with ice cream or whipping cream & it will be delicious! An awesome night in movie kind of treat for yourself on a rainy day ;)
This is a great cheat cheat to satisfy your cravings for some dessert or cake like treat without having to go through the whole cake process & have yourself a delicious snack yet not having to sacrifice the cravings.

Love yourself & you’ll love life

Sometimes you just have to be a little selfish & make yourself happy first instead of trying to please everybody else
